Athletics

At Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic School, we believe that athletics are integral part of a joyful and well-rounded education. Our sports programs are designed to teach more than just skills; they foster teamwork, sportsmanship and a love for a healthy, active life.

Team Sports

Starting in 3rd grade, students can discover the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of being part of a team. We proudly compete in the CSAL and NIAL leagues, offering a variety of team sports throughout the year, including flag football, volleyball, cross-country,  basketball, soccer and track. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to grow in confidence, learn valuable life lessons and create lasting friendships.

Developmental Sports

Four our younger students, our developmental sports teams are all about fun and learning the fundamentals. We offer teams in flag football and basketball for students in 3rd and 4th grade. These teams provide a nurturing environment where children can build skills and develop a love for the game in a supportive, non-competitive setting.

School Spirit

Our athletics programs are powered by a vibrant sense of school spirit! Girls in 4th grade are invited to join our Spirit Squad and help cheer on our teams. Girls in 5th grade and above can try out for our cheerleading and dance teams, becoming the energetic heart of our athletic events.

Our sports program is a true testament to the strength of our school family, as it's made possible by the incredible parents who generously volunteer their time ​as coaches. Their passion and dedication are at the heart of our program, and they play a vital role in shaping our student-athletes.
